As we await the beginning of an historic test series between the Aussies and the Proteas, which will no doubt take up the front and back page of many news rags for the next few weeks, its actually the pain of the lions super 14 bid which leaves me in shakey anxiety. The kings of "epic fail" are relentless in their efforts to quail even the most idealistic of fanatical red n white fans. Lets hope the wooden spoon goes elsewhere this year.
